Altitude Fitness Re-Opened on May 20th, Taking Top Priority on their Social Distancing Measures

As businesses in Laramie continue to re-open, we would like to recognize Altitude Fitness this week for their social distancing measures. Altitude Fitness re-opened their gym to the public on May 20th. All staff are required to wear face masks at all times, gloves while cleaning, and are screened for symptoms of illness by mandatory temperature checks before beginning their shift. The gym is limiting the use of the facility to members only. Members are requested not to visit Altitude Fitness if they have: experienced symptoms of any illness in the past 48 hours, traveled outside of Wyoming in the past 7 days, or have shortness of breath, cough, or fever.

Face masks are encouraged to be worn by all patrons and free masks are available to all members at the front desk. Cleanliness has always been at the forefront of Altitude Fitness’s regimen, but at this time they have implemented even more sanitation measures. Open hours have been decreased for staff to utilize the closed time to do deep cleaning. Altitude Fitness has implemented a system to indicate when equipment and machines are sanitized and ready for use. More sanitation stations have been added throughout the gym with medical-grade disinfecting spray, towels and hand sanitizer. Locker rooms are open and available for use with increased sanitation measures. Their staff will be monitoring locker rooms closely to continually sanitize and clean showers and lockers after each use. Social distancing is required and additional measures have been taken to create more distance between equipment.
