on Nov 26, 2013 in Uncategorized | 0 comments

The Laramie Area Chamber of Commerce and Laramie Economic Development Corporation have developed a new promotion called Business of the Month. The Business of the Month was designed to give our members extra benefits and coverage in the community.  Laramie Fire Extinguisher Services business was selected randomly from all businesses with an October anniversary month for the month of November. The Business of the Month will be selected at the end of every month. For a business selected, they will receive a plaque to put in their office, a feature story in the weekly e-newsletter and Laramie Line Blog, and also be displayed on our website.  November Business of the Month:Laramie Fire Extinguisher Services Do you know where your fire extinguisher in your business or home is located? Did you know Fire extinguishers are to be inspected every year by a certified person? Those are the type of crucial questions that are answered by the Business of the Month for November: Laramie Fire Extinguisher Services!  Laramie Fire Extinguisher Services was established over thirty years ago by a local fireman, helping to ensure businesses in Laramie, along with all of Albany County, are in accordance with Federal, State and local fire laws. Laramie Fire Extinguisher Services puts their stamp of approval on a variety of needs: from inspection and servicing of all brands of kitchen and industrial fire suppression systems. Laramie Fire Extinguisher Services also sells and installs American made AMEREX brand fire suppression systems and extinguishers. This includes ABC, BC, K(wet chemical), All Water and Wet Chemical, HALON 1211, and CO2. To continue providing excellent service to the Laramie and surrounding area, they will be providing emergency and exit lighting servicing soon. Owners, Dan and Maureen Boddicker, purchased the business on September 1, 2011 from founder Tom Gaddis to continue to provide this necessary service. The Boddicker’s have continued to provide superior service at an affordable price. If your business or home is in need of a replacement or inspection, call Dan Boddicker at (307) 745-7751. Their office is located at 1158 Pine St. Laramie,...

While walking the downtown streets of Laramie the Pedal House Bike Shop stopped me in my tracks. It’s a beautiful 50° November afternoon today in Laramie. It’s not often Laramie has this warm of weather mid-November; you better take advantage of it.  A business that has been around since 1991 with a rustic orange exterior a person can’t miss it.  The Pedal House Bike Shop on 207 S. 1st St. owned by Dewey Gallegos and Jessica Flock. Not only does the Pedal House Bike Shop sell bicycles, they also restore them. All old stock bikes are 15-35% off. For the past 3 years The Pedal House has been selling and repairing bicycles with a furry friend or two that greets you upon...

In heaven there is no beer…

(Bottom right corner General Manager Josh Baldwin taking a quick break after a busy week) In heaven there is no beer… those lyrics displayed high on the wall happened to first catch my eye as I entered The Library Sports Grille & Brewery. The phrase to the infamous ‘Beer Song’, played famously by the Western Thunder marching band, makes you feel like you’re in the heart of Laramie. From the brand new staircase that labels famous authors and novels to the widescreen televisions; The Library Sports Grille & Brewery is up and running at their new location on 201 E Custer St, in Laramie. With a game room, pool tables and an array of sunshine upstairs, it is the perfect hotspot to kick back and relax.  The daily happy hour is from 4-6 p.m. offering a variety of daily specials. All house brews will begin to appear by the end of November. If you’re looking for a pint and a pound for $8.99 hit up The Library Sports Grille & Brewery tonight for their Thursday special, or if you want a place to cheer on the Wyoming Cowboys this weekend visit one of Laramie’s finest hotspot. So, obviously in heaven there is no beer, but in case you’re trying to find a heavenly place to enjoy a beer, stop on by The Library Sports Grille &...
