93 percent of Americans have eaten pizza in the last month and on average American’s consume around 251,770,000 pounds of pepperonis each year.  Mr. Jim’s Pizza is part of that statistic, one of the most popular pizza ordered is pepperoni pizza, with sticky fingers coming in second. Mr. Jim’s Pizza is a U.S. chain of pizza restaurants established in Farmers Branch, TX. Mr. Jim’s owner Mike Gire has been in the pizza business in Laramie for the past four years, located at 2523 Grand Ave., Unit A, he also has a location in Cheyenne which has been opened for nine years. Although he does not live in Laramie he is in town at least 3 to 4 times a week. “I have always been a fan of Laramie, I graduated from the University of Wyoming and have a lot of family that lives here” said Gire. You might be familiar with the Mr. Jim’s slogan, “It’s the crust” Mr. Jim’s is widely known for their crust. Their hand stretched pizza dough is made fresh in store daily. Recently, Mr. Jim’s has been testing a different kind of advertising, Mr. Jim’s Pizza started using mini mailer flyers that include coupons that you may have noticed in your mailbox. Gire mentioned that sales alone this summer have increased by 15%. He thinks that the mini mailer flyer advertising has been the trick. There are currently over 70 Mr. Jim’s locations in Louisiana, Texas, North Carolina, and Wyoming. In 1975 the first Mr. Jim’s Pizza was opened in Detroit, MI.
