University of Wyoming
Established in 1886, the University of Wyoming (UW) is a nationally recognized research institution with accomplished faculty and world-class facilities. It is the only four-year university in the State of Wyoming. UW provides quality undergraduate and graduate programs to 13,800 students from all 50 states and 94 countries. Its setting is suburban, and a campus size of 785 acres. UW utilizes a semester-based academic calendar, with in-state tuition and fees at $4,404 (2013-14): out-of-state tuition and fees are $14,124 (2013-14). Laramie County Community College - Albany County Branch
Established in 1968, Laramie County Community College (LCCC) is a full-service, comprehensive community college. It offers more than 80 Associate Degrees and over 30 Certificates of Completion. Albany County School District #One (ACSD)
ACSD continues to move forward, providing its students with the skills needed to compete and succeed in a global society. As a district, in every grade level, and in every content area, statistically, ACSO scored at or above the state averages for students scoring at the proficient or advanced levels on state exams. Across the state, it is 3rd in the junior class ACT scores. Not included in the state's summary, but an interesting fact to share, is that last year, high school graduates from Albany County School District One qualified for and received almost $3 million in scholarship money at Universities across the country.
