The Taste of Home Cooking Show is in Laramie! Get your cooking spirits and kitchen ovens ready. I like trying new recipes. Perhaps, when I go to the Taste of Home Cooking Show, I will learn some new recipes to try at home. Now I don’t claim to be a good cook by any means, but a creative one yes. I hope to maybe even improve my cooking skills by going to this cooking show. But I will have to go somewhere to buy the ingredients for my newly learned recipes. Where shall I go? Why, Laramie’s own Albertsons, Safeway, or Wal-Mart of course. Albertsons 3112 E. Grand Ave. Laramie, WY 82070 (307) 742-8146 Safeway 554 North 3rd Street Laramie, WY 82072 (307) 721-5107 Wal-Mart 4308 E. We hope that you are enjoying the great end to a rainy, Spring week! For all of you partaking in the Graduation Festivities this weekend, congratulations to you and/or your graduate. The Laramie Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to have the University of Wyoming as a Cornerstone Members and more importantly, a member of the community. Tassels to the left and Congrats to all! 1. Mother’s Day Tea. Today from  2:00 PM – 4:00 PM all mother’s are invited to attend the Mother’s Day Tea a the Eppson Center for Seniors. See you there! 2. Did you make your reservations? It is graduation weekend here in Laramie and that means our restaurants will be packed and traffic slightly clogged. For our businesses this is great but if you are a local with no tie to UW Graduation, you might find yourself a bit frustrated. Don’t let it be that way, be happy about our overload of business for the next few days and avoid the crowds by scheduling around big rushes. This afternoon do your weekend grocery shopping and opt out of standing in crowds by having a BBQ this evening. You can get all your BBQ Favorites from The Butcher Block, Albertsons and Safeway. If you do it right, you can have multiple meals from your own grill and never feel overpowered by a large crowd....

Sometimes you have days where you would rather not know what the plan is and just go about things randomly. Today seems like one of those days. With the weather nice but not completely warm it seems like a great day to relax and just enjoy those around you. At work you can share your break time with someone you rarely get to talk to or make a phone call to you mom or dad that you always put off until later. Remember to always enjoy your day even when the stress tries to get the better of you. Here is your Daily Dose brought to you by the Laramie Area Chamber of Commerce.  1. Grill Up Favorites! Tonight you can make dinner so easy by grilling up your favorite things on that BBQ that has had to sit all winter. While you are out waiting for the steaks, burgers, chicken, etc. to finish you can relax with the family. We suggest getting all your grilling favorites at The Butcher Block located at 1968 Snowy Range Rd. and they are ready to help you find whatever it is you are craving. 2. RELAX. Sometimes we forget that the best part about our lives is that we control them. Relax tonight and just enjoy your family and friends. You don’t need to do anything extravagant, just hang out and learn about their day, tell them about yours and remember that sometimes it is best to just make no plans. See you all...
