Customer Service Changes Related to COVID-19

Laramie, Wyoming – In an effort to keep municipal staff as healthy as possible and to provide the vital services our community requires, the City of Laramie will be making the following changes to customer service operations effective Friday, March 13, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. and will remain in effect until further notice.

Wherever possible, customer service will be provided remotely. Public facilities will be closed to walk-up customer traffic. Visible signage will be posted at all entrances to instruct customers as to the options for accessing City services remotely (telephone, internet, email, video, drop-box, etc.). Please visit https://www.cityoflaramie.org/directory.aspx for a full staff directory.

Where it is not possible to serve customers remotely, staff will continue to utilize enhanced disinfection protocols, practice social distancing, and any other measures recommended by the WY Department of Health and the CDC.

Professional development training and travel for City staff will be suspended for four weeks through April 10th, unless it is deemed necessary to preserve operational continuity.

At this time the Laramie Community Recreation Center will remain open and operational until changes are required. We ask that patrons follow these simple rules. 1) If you think you might be ill or becoming ill, please stay home. 2) Please use “No Touch” scanning of your membership card for entry. 3) Please use gym wipes or sprays to wipe down the equipment you use.
