As we begin 2020, it is with great pleasure that we recognize Summit View Dentistry as the Laramie Chamber Business Alliance’s ‘Business of the Month’.

Summit View Dentistry PC opened the doors in March of 2019 and hit the ground running. “It’s been crazy, but it’s been good!” said Dr. Stacie Morrison, DDS. “All the support from the community, our patients and family and friends has been amazing.” She added, “Even as fast as we are growing, we are trying to build a relationship with our patients. I think making it a pleasant experience makes all the difference.”

Dr. Stacie Morrison is proud of her Wyoming roots, growing up in Cheyenne and attending the University of Wyoming for her undergraduate degree. She was also a member of the UW Athletics Cheerleading squad. After graduating from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry in Lincoln, Nebraska and spending several years practicing dentistry in Cheyenne, she realized she missed the tight-knit community of Laramie. “I felt drawn back to Laramie and wanted to raise my family in a tight knit community. I also wanted to build a business based on my values which is to treat people the way I want to be treated”

Summit View Dentistry places a high value on building strong relationships with their patients and making sure people are comfortable. “The goal is to have patients for life and friendships too. I feel invested in my patients’ lives.”

Summit View Dentistry staff consists of Laura Stephens as the Office Manager, Kodi Bernaski, Dental Hygienist, and Emily Lowry, Dental Assistant. “These girls are amazing,” said Dr. Morrison, “I feel like they are much of the reason of why we have been as successful as we have, just starting out.” She remarked, “Kodi is a fabulous hygienist, the patients love her. She explains things non-clinical terms and really thinks about the patient. Emily is great – she has an extremely well-rounded clinical background and is so hard-working and friendly. And Laura does a fantastic job in all areas of office managing—we’ve had so many compliments on how great she is to work with. I’ve been really lucky.”

Dr. Morrison added, “We all have the same vision and goal for what we want the practice to be. My staff feels a drive to make the business successful.”

Even with a busy schedule as a practice owner and a mom of an almost two-year-old, Dr. Morrison is making time to give back to the community through her involvement in the Kiwanis club. Some of the activities include: Stars of Tomorrow, Christmas party for special needs children, coat drives, and food drives.

“I love Laramie and I love how the community is so close and there are so many things for us to do to keep us connected. I love it here and am really happy with how everything has turned out and hope to keep moving in a positive direction.”
