Last night the US Senate passed the second of an anticipated 3 stimulus measures to aid families and businesses during the Corona Virus Pandemic. It was signed into law shortly after by the president. The bill allows for additional sick leave related to the crisis, expanded testing, increased funding for federal programs, and increases to unemployment benefits related to the crisis.
As a part of LCBA’s ongoing effort to bring information to our local partners as this situation unfolds we are tracking efforts being made at a federal level to assist families and businesses at this time. Attached is an article that includes bullet point summations of proposals that have been and will be before congress.
