Live From Wyoming 4th Of July

Wyoming Public Media, the City of Laramie Parks and Recreation, Wyoming Community Foundation and Wyoming Humanities are collaborating on a statewide event for this 4th of July.  They will bring you live music from Laramie featuring acoustic band Ten Cent Stranger along with music videos from a number of Wyoming musicians around the state including the Nate Champion Band from Sheridan, Aaron Davis from Jackson, Lacy Nelson from Ten Sleep, and Two Tracks from Sheridan.  Listeners can tune in to Wyoming Public Radio and/or view the live stream at wyomingpublicmedia.org or the Wyoming Public Radio & Media Facebook page.  The Live from Wyoming event takes place July 4th from 6:00 to 8:00pm and will showcase Wyoming musicians.  It will also provide Wyoming communities/citizens an opportunity to celebrate collectively yet, safely and in accordance with state leadership’s public health protocols. Wyoming Public Media (WPM) is Wyoming’s public radio/media statewide network operating 4 FM channels and an online service.  Its Wyoming Public Radio (WPR) FM signal alone reaches approximately 95 percent of the state and is heard by over 70,000 Wyomingites. Online content is accessed by over 1.2 million unique visitors annually.  It is the NPR affiliate for Wyoming.

WPM’s mission is to connect Wyoming through programming that informs, inspires, and educates.  Its objectives are to 1) encourage lifelong learning, 2) foster interest and participation in community, national, and world affairs, and 3) reflect Wyoming’s and America’s culture and heritage.
