Leadership Laramie
The goal of Leadership Laramie is to provide leadership development for citizens of Albany County and to encourage them to take positions of leadership within the community. Leadership Laramie offers participants the opportunity to learn more about their community, themselves and others in Laramie as they attend Leadership development sessions and community based experiences. Leadership Laramie utilizes the UW Cooperative Extension EVOLVE model and is a one-year program.

An initiative of the Laramie Chamber Business Alliance, LYP is dedicated to empowering young professionals (ages 21–40) through networking, professional development, and community engagement. Our mission is to create a vibrant and supportive environment for the next generation of leaders in Laramie.

LYP is proud to host the 20 Under 40 Awards, honoring 20 outstanding young professionals who are making an impact in Laramie. Nominations for 2025 are closed, but join us on May 9 for the award ceremony luncheon as we celebrate their achievements!

Other Committees
The Government Relations committee focuses on trying to make the LCBA members more aware of what is going on with their elected officials. The committee strives to foster better communication with state, county, and city government. The committee encourages more business minded individuals to run for office.
Business Properties committee is responsible for the supervision of the LCBA’s land to be used to attract new business and retain and encourage expansion of existing businesses.
As the ambassadors of the Laramie Chamber Business Alliance (LCBA), this committee oversees greeting attendees at Business After Hours, Ribbon Cuttings, meeting new members, and attending other events as needed.
This committee strives to assist local businesses in gaining awareness of available resources to help identify and solve problems and challenges, and to encourage expansion.
This committee works with the City of Laramie on the UDC and permits for buildings and development. They also work with local government agencies to facilitate responsible, cost and time effective development within community standards to the benefit of economic development.
This committee oversees the LCBA financials and administers the revolving loan fund.
